General Information:
Please plan to be on campus on Friday, Feb. 13, 1998 at 11:00 am in Computer Lab, WSL( the library) Room 16 to take Exam 1 covering the material of Units 1 to 4. If you are on schedule for the course, then the "week " from Monday 2/9 to 2/13 can be used to review for the test. If you are still working on units, then this week, 2/6 to 2/13 can be used for "catch - up' as well as prepare for the test. Unit 5 , the start of the second half of the course, covering atomic structure and chemical bonding, will be available begining 2/14, the weekend after the mid-term. Unit 8 quiz will be due on Monday, March 16, the "last" day of class.
The final exam is scheduled, based on the MWF 11:00 time block, for Wednesday, March 18 at 11:00 am in WSL Room 16. Since this is a standardized "first term"chemistry test that lasts 120 minutes, you can take any time you want to during finals: Wednesday 3/18, Thursday 3/19 or Friday 3/20 just let me know via e-mail, phone etc. when you have two hours to do it. I will plan to administer the test on 3/18 at 11:00 in WSL 16 to anyone who wants to come to this regularly scheduled time. This information plus a bit more is under "Course News". Check it, also.
If you have any problem making the Friday 2/13 test, let me know. And let me know when you plan to take the final if it is sometime different then the schedule.
