Those who have a degree may choose to complete the Social Science program or demonstrate competency in their subject area by taking the PRAXIS examinations in Social Studies. The examinations, which cover United States and world history, government, economics, geography, and the behavioral sciences, include both multiple-choice and constructed response components. You must take and pass the SSAT in Social Studies and tests 20082, Social Studies: Analytical Essays, and 20083, Social Studies: Interpretation of Materials.
