CONFERENCE CENTER for LIFELONG LEARNING


Instructions for daily use and access to the Conference Center site:

This asynchronous virtual conference is open 24 hours a day for each day of the conference and post-session. Each conference "attendee" controls their own attendance and participation.
This basic instruction for this series will provide a helpful path to the various sites and activities within the Conference Center. This conference will be housed on the Fifth (5th) and Sixth (6th) Floors of the Center. To reach the Fifth Floor, "click" onto the Fifth Floor designator on the Home Page. This will place you on the Fifth Floor (within a "building diagram"). To arrive at the Sixth Floor, "click" onto the Sixth Floor icon located below the "building diagram" on the Fifth Floor.


This session lasts for three days [each day there will be different presenters]. A post-session will follow for one week. The conference starts Tuesday, November 3rd at 10:00 A.M. California time. Changes in conference presenters will take place at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday and Thursday. There will be a post-session from November 6th to November 13th. Each day's activities takes place in the Assembly Hall on the Fifth Floor and the four Workshop areas located on the Sixth Floor. The Assembly Hall will only be for presenting opening remarks for the conference. The Discussion area within the Assembly Hall will address specific distance learning topics in which conference attendees are invited to participate along with the conference presenters. This discussion area will be open during the post-session.


Conference presentations will be on the Sixth Floor in the four Workshop areas. Each Workshop area has a designated Discussion identifier to "click" on where conference attendees are invited to participate in a discussion pertaining to the presentation. Conference presentations and discussions will be changed every 24 hours.


The Directory on the Fifth Floor is an additional help to attendees in locating Conference Center sites on the 5th and 6th floors.


Assembly Hall , as addressed above, will only be for presenting opening remarks for the conference.
The Discussion area within the Assembly Hall will address specific distance learning topics in which conference attendees are invited to participate along with the conference presenters. This discussion area will be available during the post-session


Global Colloquium Forum is designed for informal independent discussions among conference attendees pertaining to topics of this conference. This forum will also be available during the post-session.


The Lounge site is an informal area for on-going dialogue on any subject for conference attendees. Sit back and order your favorite beverage and "virtually" socialize. This forum will also be available during the post-session. The Transcript Center provides an opportunity to download or copy all sessions of this conference. Each day's presentations/discussions will be transferred to the Transcript Center for easy access. Attendees may copy the presentations and discussions during the conference and the post-session.
