The Student Life Center offers consulting and referral services, which are designed to help students develop their maximum potential while pursuing their educational and personal goals.  Our Student Life Consultant is available to assist students with the skills needed to deal with the many challenges a university experience creates.  Our campus is unique in that CSUB-AV students are either transfer students or returning to higher education.  There are many challenges, adjustments, and obstacles our students may encounter balancing multiple roles and responsibilities.  The center provides consultation services and referral to on campus and community resources.  Consultation services are available to undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled in the University.
