CSUB to offer Sports Management concentration within Business programBeginning in the Fall of 2001, CSUB will offer a Sports Management concentration, as well as a Professional Golf Management option, within the Business Administration degree program.

Lady Runners bring home pride and respect after CCAAIn the Cal State Bakersfield’s rookie season for women’s basketball, CSUB not only earned respect in the California Collegiate Athletic Association, but respect all over the country.

Softball sweeping success over San BernardinoThe Cal State Bakersfield softball team was a sweeping success this past weekend in taking two games apiece from visiting CCAA schools UC San Diego and Cal State San Bernardino. The four victories improved the Runners’ CCAA record to 8-2 and 16-8 overall.

CSUB track and field team works on building enduranceThis past Saturday at the Ben Brown Invitational in Fullerton, the CSUB men and women's track and field team took part in another meet to build more endurance in cold weather.

LBZ Walkuz fight to win the intramural basketball championshipFights, cops, broken noses, fire trucks, arguing players, ambulances, and a championship game were all part of the excitement of the Intramural Basketball League on Wednesday night. The concluding night of the league ended up full of more excitement than the league had planned for.

Children's play excites the wee onesLast Saturday, the CSUB Performing Arts Department put on a production of “My Own Imagination,” a children’s play filled with stories, songs and, as the title indicates, imagination.
